FIFA 15 servers down on April 9, 2015 since EA are currently undergoing maintenance for FIFA 15 online features. And the status of down keep 4 hours.
The official message from EA Sports FIFA: We’ll be performing a scheduled maintenance for all FIFA 13, FIFA 14, and FIFA 15 online features, including FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) and EA SPORTS Football Club (EASFC) on April 8, 2015 beginning at 11:00 PM PT (April 9th, 7:00 AM UK) with a total downtime of approximately 4 hours. During this time, all online features in FIFA 13, FIFA 14, FIFA 15, FIFA World, and FIFA Mobile will be offline—this includes the FUT Web App and the EASFC Companion App.
Update 6:00 AM EST: Servers are expected to be back online at this time (tentative). As expected, servers aren’t up as yet.
Update 6:35 AM EST: DELAYS!!! News just in from EA Sports FIFA: “Unfortunately the team has encountered an issue bringing services back online. As soon as we have more news we’ll let you know. Apologies”
Update 7:20 AM EST: There is only one person who is playing FIFA right now (see below). FIFA 15 servers are still down.
Update 7:34 AM: Servers are back up for all platforms, except PS4. EA currently working on getting everything smoothed out in a couple of minutes. Happy gaming folks!
There has been a huge spike in complaints over the past hour on Facebook and Twitter, as well as reports have been made on Downdetector within the last hour. Gamers across the world have reported technical difficulties signing on to the servers. At the time of this publication several visitors to Full FIFA have reported that they are unable to play FIFA 15 online friendlies, seasons or Ultimate Team. One frustrated gamer stated “Love how ea only responds when their product is for sale.” An unfortunate gamer share their frustration.
However, there is not formally reported the problem on EA Sports FIFA twitter page, this persistent issue will sure deter players supporting the franchise. The message FIFA players are getting when trying to play online is “The EA servers are not available at this time. Please try again later.”
