Gameplay engine update.
Free to play FIFA title “FIFA World” has had a big old update detailed, bringing in some of the additions we’ve seen in recent FIFAs. Version 8.0 released just over a month ago and now there’s details on the contents of Version 9.0.
Skill moves have been updated and also included are Attacking Intelligence, First Touch Control, Tactical Free Kicks and Complete Dribbling (added in FIFA 13), plus some FUT updates. There’s also a new UI, updated match presentation, new commentary, Italian language support and new stadiums (Villa Park, Boleyn Ground (Upton Park), The KC Stadium, Liberty Stadium, Imtech Arena, and Veltins Arena).
In addition to that, there’s a hefty patch list, the contents of which can be found here.
So it looks like it’s now FIFA 13 (with most of the modes missing), playable for free on PC.Personally, I’ve struggled to get on with the game, mostly due to technical issues, but this update does make it look like it’s worth revisiting.
If you haven’t had a go already you can download and play for free on PC here. There’s a new trailer showing some of this stuff off too.
